30 Day Ficmeme - Days 9, 10 and 11
Oct. 3rd, 2015 11:51 pmWow, I suck at keeping up with this! Have three more.
9: Pairings: For each of the fandoms from day two, what are your three favorite pairings to write?
The O.C. - never wrote any but it probably would have been Ryan/Seth, I think they were my first real slash pairing... Summer/Seth is also good, and then Ryan/Taylor too (sorry Marissa :/ )
Veronica Mars - Logan/Veronica was my main ship, but lowkey warm for Cassidy/Logan as a dark ship. I never wrote Veronica/Mac but I wish I had because I ship it HARD

Sherlock - Only wrote Sherlock/John but I wouldn't be averse to a bit of Sheriarty, or any ship involving Sally Donovan, who is queen of the world and my heart.
Merlin - Merthur is top ship, I don't think I'll ever get tired of writing them. I always love a bit of Morgwen and am slowly building up more fics with them (I think I'm on 4 now). I've only done one fic with Arthur/Elyan/Merlin but they are my OT3 and I really loved writing them, so I think that'll be my third.
10: Pairings: Have you ever gone outside your comfort zone and written a pairing you liked, but found you couldn't write, or a pairing you didn't like, and found you could?
I really like Merdred but I haven't done a successful one of them yet! Flycatcher was technically Merdred but you couldn't exactly call it romantic... So, yeah, I need to give that ship a go.
I'm writing Elena/Mithian atm and I'm a bit nervous about that! Because I definitely ship it but I chose Mithian as the POV character and honestly I think I would have had a better handle on Elena...
I don't think I would write a pairing I didn't like! Unless I was up for an extreme challenge (some people were talking about the challenge of writing Uther/Arthur fluff in Chatzy the other night, but I don't think that's one I'll be taking up...)
11: Genre: do you prefer certain genres of fic when you're writing? What kind do you tend to write most?
Hurt/comfortttttt. Give me all of it, there can never be enough!
