RL, Pornalot, and Rupert Young's fine self

As usual, my life is infested with chaos monkeys. My workplace underwent a big rehaul which, while definitely for the better, has confused my very small brain a lot over the past month. Then I got sick as a dog last weekend and basically spent all week feeling like a particularly lethargic slug. All of which is to make my weak excuses for why I'm way behind on Pornalot signups! I feel bad because I should have promo-ed it more so that more people could sign up. So forgive me a small last minute pimp before the fest starts tomorrow:

Despite aforementioned slug status, the highlight of my week was seeing Twelfth Night with Rupert Young as Orsino! I like Leon but he's never been my most swoonsome knight or anything, so I was surprised at how very attracted to him I was! He's all long and lean and nicely dressed in this, plus he's got that killer singing voice and just mmm... general yum. He's also appears about eight foot taller than anyone else onstage which made me giggle. The show is GREAT as well, a proper community piece with local choirs involved and diverse casting and awesome music. Highly recommend it if you can make it to London!



P.S. I also haven't quite finished my Merlin Canon fic that was due this week which I'm also super guilty about - but it is almost there and tbh it's getting posted tomorrow afternoon come hell or high water...

Squuueeeeeeeeee! I saw him in High Society (twice!) and he was so to-die-for-swoonworthy and handsome and adorable and could SING and YES! So glad Twelfth Night was good!!

I had a dream last night that I met you at a dinner party and it turned out my grandma was your great-grandma and we thought it so strange that we'd met online first... I must have had you in my head after all the glorious spanking promos.

(I had such crazy dreams last night (and every night). It's like I live a whole other life while I'm asleep.)

I was very uncertain about pornalot. I've been in a Funk and there are Emotions and I haven't written in Ages. But I always feel guilty about not writing, because really, that's what I love... It's just a weird mental block... and so I'm going to sign up and hope it's inspirational. But if I don't actually write anything, it's because there is a huge brick wall in my brain. But I'll try. (and it will suck, but hey that's better than nothing, right?)

I had hoped to see Rupert but unfortunately I had to fly home on Oct 2. I would have changed my flight but the early date tickets sold out immediately so I gave up.
